Finally, it’s February pay day. After Christmas it seems that that none of us have any money to splurge on music until this month's pay cheque comes in. So now that our wallets have recovered and February has woken us from our seasonal sonic slumber, it’s about time to search out some new music. But who should we be listening to? And where do we look for it?
It’s really only now that we start to get a good look at the year’s hot new releases. That being said, it’s all too easy to run to the BBC Sound of 2016 long list in the hope that we’ll find an artist we love there. And Wednesday's Brit Awards won’t serve you up much you don’t already know about. There really weren’t many surprises there were there? So we thought it would be a good idea to showcase some slightly less talked about but equally amazing tracks we’ve dug up while rifling through the new year crates.
