Friday Tunes: A Cinematic Darkside

At Wake The Town we love to collaborate with authentic artists and producers when commissioning music for film and advertising. With this in mind we wanted to create a playlist that was made up entirely of past and present examples, along with one extra which is definitely a future collaborative goal of ours.

Starting off with Broadway Project’s beautifully cinematic opener, we journey via WIFE’s haunting vocal textures, a stunning Guy Andrew’s remix, a 4/4 roller from Deft and conclude with Darkside’s ode to Pink Floyd. We feel these, among others, make for a great Friday afternoon listening; and fingers crossed you will agree.
