Freefolk has announced that CG lead Maria Carriedo has joined their team to work across both commercials and episodic projects.
Hailing from Mexico, Maria started her VFX career at Digital Domain in LA before moving to London in 2017 where she has been CG lead at The Mill ever since.
Whilst at The Mill Maria has built up an impressive portfolio of work on high profile commercials for brands including, Smart Energy (AMV), Direct Line (Saatchi & Saatchi) And the multi award winning Heathrow Bears campaign (Havas).
Maria will be working alongside Freefolk’s head of CG Harin Hirani who comments: “Maria has worked on some outstanding projects over her career and possesses an abundance of artistic talent. Her background as a 3D generalist and a lead will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow our commercials and longform department, we look forward to working with her.
