Fran Colombatti Joins Birth UK Roster

Birth UK welcomes Argentinian filmmaker Fran Colombatti for commercial representation in the UK.  

Fran’s cinematic yet funny and quirky style caught Elson’s eye and Birth are delighted to introduce him to the UK market.  Fran has developed a pretty eclectic reel that ranges from musicals to puppets and VFX films. Most would describe him as a creative, detail-oriented and hard-working director. He describes himself as a Boca Juniors fan.

Fran studied photography at the Art Centre College of Design in Los Angeles and Visual Arts at Central Saint Martins in London.

After working as an art director for SANTO in the UK, and for MOTHER in Argentina, he moved to direct, first making short films, music videos and video installations. Former member of the directing duo 1985, Fran has won several international awards including a Cannes Lion for his Everybody Loves Boobs spot.

Fran was born in Argentina, but his Italian ancestors passed him his love for fine arts and pasta.
