Independent creative and innovative agency Forever Beta have added a new management line-up with the recent hirings of chief creative officer and partner Paulo Areas and managing director Kirsteen Scoble.
Paulo Areas - who originally hails from Brazil - joins the agency from Spain where he was general creative director at Ogilvy Madrid for four years. Previously he was international creative director at Leo Burnett and Lola MullenLowe working alongside brands such as Jeep, Chrysler, Magnum Ice-cream amongst others. In 2013 Areas was part of the Cheil network and responsible for the Korean network offices in Spain and Portugal before moving to Ogilvy. Paulo has won over 100 international awards in his career including Cannes Gold Lions and European Grand Prix. At Ogilvy Spain, he came to position the agency among the 30th most innovative agencies in the world in 2017.
In his own words: “I came to lead an already established brand that will allow me to expand the creative work beyond advertising, offering stronger solutions and ideas for our clients’ businesses. The name Forever Beta already stands for so much. Being an independent company, we are obliged to confront and question the status quo, to come up with new unexpected solutions, I feel that this is not only possible, but is already happening at Forever Beta.”
Kirsteen Scoble joins Forever Beta from MullenLowe London where she was managing director. During her career she has worked on some of the world’s biggest global brands in P&G and GSK, well known British Institutions including the Post Office, NatWest and Morrisons and much-loved charities in the British Heart Foundation, National Trust and Samaritans. Before MullenLowe she has been at a number of top creative agencies; TBWA, Wieden & Kennedy, Leo Burnett and Grey London. She too is an award winner, but is quick to highlight what really drives her is people. ‘What sets Forever Beta apart for me is its people, I’m excited to join such a dynamic and energetic team who want to collaborate and innovate.’
CEO and founder Robin Gadsby says: "I’m very proud of what we have achieved so far at Forever Beta and believe now is the time to build on our strong foundations. With Paulo and Kirsteen in place I feel we are set to take the business to the next level."
Forever Beta was founded in 2010 and works with clients such as Google, Camden Beer, Coop and Etihad with offices in London, Manchester and New York.
