Ford Challenge Viral Shot on Location in Southern Spain

Santa Monica Productions has just finished production of a viral for First Floor Film Partner from Hamburg.

The two minute film was shot over two days in the provinces of Almeria and Granada, Southern Spain.

Locations required were a series of radical hairpin bends on a snow-clad mountain road and an impressive ski-slope.  Our hero drives a section of the icy road under controlled conditions at high-speed  in reverse, using only the rear-view camera.

Freezing conditions and heavy snowfall made access difficult for our unit but some serious snow-shoveling soon cleared a path through. Panoramic views across the desert below and Hollywood sunsets all helped to create the right feeling.
