Football League XFL Names 160over90 Agency of Record

160over90 has been named the communications agency of record for XFL, the professional American football league founded by Vince McMahon. The win takes place in the lead-up to the XFL teams kick-off in February 2020, the week after the Super Bowl, where its games will be nationally televised on ABC/ESPN and FOX Sports. The XFL is led by commissioner and CEO Oliver Luck and president and COO, Jeffrey Pollack. 

This announcement comes as a result of a competitive pitch, awarded in November. 160over90’s work with the XFL is in effect immediately and will run through the XFL 2020 season. 160over90 will handle the XFL’s media relations strategy, message development and influencer engagement to help the league and its teams to continue generating awareness and to shine a light on its players, coaches and fans. 

160over90 is part of the Endeavor network. Endeavor’s sports services group has been working with the XFL since the start of 2019, with a focus on content strategy. When the team learned that the XFL was seeking a communications partner, they referred XFL to 160over90.
