Hooters spoofs consumers' inner dialogue with new spot and making-of film
So it turns out Pammy, Yasmin and the Hoff have been lying to us all this time – a lifeguard’s lot is actually not such a glamorous one after all. The general public. In bathing suits. Can you imagine? A new spot for Hooters reveals the dirty truth, with a creative that may or may not have had us running to the bathroom in a paranoid frenzy for a spot cellulite check.
In "Lifeguard", two hand puppets, the Devil and Angel Owls, resplendent in the orange and white Hooters colours, debate the merits of a prospective guest’s inner dialogue on whether he should go to Hooters and what he should order when he gets there.
This new campaign, via Fitzgerald+Co, directed by Jody Hill (noted director of HBO's Eastbound & Down) and edited by Arcade Edit's Geoff Hounsell, features Hooters consumers' inner Hooters dialogue.
