Campaign highlights positive social impact of credit unions on communities

Firstborn's Online Hub for PSCU

PSCU wanted to raise awareness among millennials about the benefits credit unions offer over big banks by highlighting the positive social impact that credit unions have on their respective communities.  To get the message across PSCU enlisted 8 major market credit unions to help champion its cause, and tapped NY based digital agency, Firstborn, to build an online hub featuring an interactive narrative experience that comes to life through a dynamic parallax scrolling experience and follows the journey of a typical deposit  through big banks versus credit unions.

The hub includes a custom calculation tool that shows people how much big banks actually profit from their deposits, and in addition to making a compelling case for credit unions over big banking, the site also helps people find and join a local credit union.  Beyond the hub, the story lives outside the site as a fully animated motion piece, also created by Firstborn, which is being seeded and pushed via social media through the participating credit unions, PSCU and a large host of bloggers and online influencers.

Check out the online hub, created by Firstborn, at: http://makeyourmoneymatter.org/
