First-Ever Super Bowl Commercial from State Farm Hints at New Talent in Teasers

State Farm is gearing up for its first ever in-game commercial for the Big Game this year. The spot was created by The Marketing Arm and features NFL MVP contenders and State Farm regulars Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, Jake from State Farm and some memorable surprise guests that won't be revealed until the spot airs on game day.

In the last decade, State Farm has become synonymous with the football season. Aaron Rodgers has played a big role in that over the years, and now with Patrick Mahomes a part of Team State Farm, the brand is taking advantage of its unique position to bring fans memorable entertainment through strategically designed campaigns year over year.

No matter what the outcome of the Super Bowl is, the State Farm campaign aims to unite football fans regardless of team colours via unexpected moments of pure entertainment. Check out the teasers below.

“We’re so excited to share our first-ever in-game Super Bowl commercial with football fans this Sunday." said Rand Harbert, chief marketing officer, State Farm. "The new creative will definitely deliver on the ‘wow’ factor associated with Super Bowl spots. Airing during the first half of the Big Game, the spot will feature NFL MVP contenders and State Farm regulars Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, Jake from State Farm and some memorable surprise guests. Fans will have to wait until game day for the big reveal!”

Last season during the playoffs, fans united around the possibility of #StateFarmBowl. Then, just before kick-off last year State Farm launched a new campaign that re-introduced Jake from State Farm to the world. The camaraderie between Jake, Rodgers and Mahomes has been apparent all year long. Now, with both QBs at the top of their conferences and each of them vying for MVP of the league – it only made sense for 2021 to mark the first Super Bowl spot for State Farm.

The all new State Farm Super Bowl commercial will air for the first time during the first half of the Super Bowl.

State Farm is giving fans a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of this epic spot during CBS’s annual 'Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials' special airing today at 8pm ET / 7pm CT on CBS and CBS All Access.
