Italian production house strikes deal with UK company and adds new five directors to its roster
The renowned Italian production house Filmmaster Productions has added more world-class talent to its pool of directors.
Following from its partnership with the Latin powerhouse Landia, Filmmaster Productions enriches its roster with new outstanding directors for exclusive and priority representations in the Italian market.
The exclusive representations are the results of a strategic deal clinched with the London-based production company Academy Films.
The partnership will allow Filmmaster Productions to handle on an exclusive basis in the Italian market acclaimed and worldwide known directors as US and Si&Ad and new bright talents Jake Driscoll and Novemba.
Academy head of sales George Floyd states: “We have been searching for a production partner in Italy for some time. Filmmaster have vast experience, ambition and depth of knowledge to match our own. In addition to working alongside some of the industry’s most established names, they know how to find and launch new talent. We’re delighted to have them as a partner.”
In the meantime, the Italian company is also going to team up with five superb directors who are going to have a priority deal with Filmmaster for projects coming from Italian clients and agencies. The talented names are Truman&Cooper, visual and edgy French storytellers, Wolf&Lamm, German director whose works are influenced by art direction, Tomas Mankovsky, amazing and versatile filmmaker, Imanol, talented Spanish with humour and irony and Ivan Jurado, whose works goes from fashion to vignettes.
