Fiji Water Appoints GolinHarris



Trendsetting bottled water producer FIJI Water has named GolinHarris as its agency of record in Taiwan, following a four-way pitch. The global communications agency is tasked with building strong exposure for the brand, known for its iconic square bottle, on the island nation.


“We were impressed by GolinHarris’ extensive industry experience, deep understanding of the local market and professionalism” commented Wai Mei Lee, general manager of Asia & Australia, FIJI Water. “We look forward to working with them as our strategic agency partner in the Taiwan market.”


As part of a 6-month assignment, GolinHarris will provide strategic counsel to help grow the bottled water brand's distribution base throughout Taiwan. This will include employing tactics to increase product recognition and drive consumer trial of FIJI Water, the number one imported bottled water in the United States.

FIJI Water, from Viti Levu (Fiji Islands), is known for its unique bottling technique, where the water, naturally filtered through volcanic rock, is forced through a sealed delivery system free of human contact. It is positioned within the premium bottled water segment, and the brand has established itself with a strong celebrity following in markets where it is currently sold.
