Favourites From the Downtown Catalogue

Last year, we received some pretty exciting news… Concord Music Publishing had acquired the brilliant and bountiful Downtown catalogue. That meant that on 1st Jan 2022, as a Sync team we were given 145,000 new songs to work with. A little overwhelming at first, but also a kind of breath of fresh air!

There are some big hitters in there that the world already knows – a bit of Beyonce, Rihanna, the 1975 and Motley Crue to name but a few… But there are also some hidden gems and newer artists that I particularly cannot wait to work with.

So here’s 10 of my favourite tracks – starting with the effortlessly feel good vibes of Bahamas, finishing with some powerful spoken word over Jazz from Neue Grafik and Brother Portrait…
