FA's Lionesses Pick Their 'Pride Dream Team' with Google Cloud

Every Saturday people from different walks of life come together to cheer for their favourite football team. And every June a diverse mix of people from LGBTQ+ community come together to celebrate Pride month. Two proud, passionate communities packed with iconic role models. 

So, to help Google Cloud and the FA put conversations about Pride firmly in the mainstream, Forever Beta put a twist on the classic “Dream Team” and asked three Lionesses who would be on their “Pride Dream Team”. 

In the film professional footballers Georgia Stanworth, Jess Carter and Nikita Parris pick a five a side team of LGBTQ+ icons to be on their “Pride Dream Team”. Ranging from Megan Rapinoe to Elton John. 

The film will feature across Google & the FA’s social channels, inviting football fans into a conversation about LGBTQ+ icons and showing just how similar LGBTQ+ and footballing communities are.
