Factory Design Labs, the leader in customer creation for global, culture-driven, premium lifestyle brands such as The North Face and Oakley, has appointed Andrew Price global chief creative officer in a move to support on-going expansion plans.
Price’s role will be two-fold. Firstly, to ensure the highest quality of creative product and delivery for FDL across concept, design, digital and broadcast. Secondly, to nurture and propagate FDL’s modus operandi to create change through inspiration.
Andrew Price says: “I lead by letting my teams take risks. That’s what encourages alternative thinking, and that’s the kind of thing I’ve always thrived on. Factory’s approach would seem out of place on Madison Avenue. We dive into the brands we represent and we always speak authentically. Everything we do is about resonating with the most critical consumer: our clients’ core audience. As a result, people want to work with us and for us because you can be yourself. And with other senior leadership changes and our on-going expansion plans, we are poised to continue making a series impact globally in 2014 and beyond.”
Scott Mellin adds: “Andrew is creative renaissance man. With his stewardship he will enable brands to find their greatness by inspiring change that really matters to their consumers be it through culture, consumer experience, communications, products and loyalty. Over the years we have become great friends and I know the agency’s imaginative prowess will continue to thrive in a pair of extremely capable hands.”
Price, who has worked with FDL since the turn of the century, and was most recently its executive creative director, has a wealth of experience at the frontline of creative offerings. He was the digital creative director for the Audi of America account for numerous years and has lead The North Face global account for the past three.
Factory Design Labs offers the vanguard in marketing services for premium sport and lifestyle brands which include The North Face, Oakley, Aspen/Snowmass and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows.
In the last year, Factory Design Labs have opened offices in Verbier and Shanghai.view more - Hires, Wins & Business
