Exponential Interactive has announced the appointment of Tom Woodcock (pictured below) as account director and Alfie Lagos (pictured left) as platform specialist. Both are Melbourne-based roles and reflect the growth of Exponential’s Australian business.
As account director, Woodcock will be responsible for deepening the understanding key agencies and brand advertisers have with Exponential’s proprietary technology to help meet their marketing needs. He will also manage a growing team of account managers. He joins Exponential from open ad management company Sizmek, formally MediaMind, where he set up the Victorian office in 2012. He previously held a number of strategic account management and digital roles at Twenty3, MindShare and GroupM.
Lagos joins as platform specialist, where he will be tasked with managing Exponential’s product and service platform integrations for the entire APAC region. Alfie rejoins Exponential after taking a role as digital director at Vizeum where he was digital marketing lead across BMW Group activity. He previously spent four years at Exponential in a variety of roles in London and Melbourne, and most recently account director for ANZ. Prior to that he was in sales and operations at ninemsn.
“These two pivotal roles in Australia reflect the growth of our Australian operation and our commitment to innovate and evolve our product and services to meet agency needs,” said Ben Maudsley, managing director APAC and South Africa for Exponential. “Tom and Alfie bring considerable strategic digital and technical experience to Exponential and will further improve our market leading offer to agencies and brands.”
