VIA launches its newest work on behalf of Perdue. Launching today, the two executions, which fall under the tagline “Perdue. Hungry for Better Chicken”, solidifies a brand partnership that drives success beyond its category for a long-established name.
This campaign, which serves as a fresh new way to use the Perdue family and their zeal for quality chicken, is not only designed to make people hungry for great-tasting chicken but repositions Perdue beyond its product-specific attributes to ensure brand trust and reliability in the name. With a deep understanding of Perdue’s mission to do whatever it takes to raise a great-tasting chicken, the “Hungry for Better Chicken” campaign is the ultimate call to action that conveys the depth and passion of the Perdue family’s drive to get people to reconsider the chicken they are buying.
The campaign will run on national broadcast, OLV, social, and display for launch.
Amos Goss, executive creative director, VIA: “It would be hard to overstate the drive and determination of the Perdue family and organization. They pioneer their industry in animal care and quality, and it’s all in service of making great-tasting food for consumers. That’s what “Hungry for Better Chicken” is all about. Our aim is for all expressions of this campaign to capture the energy and momentum of this pioneering brand, and the delicious chicken that comes from it.”
David Zucker, CMO and SVP ecommerce, Perdue Farms: “Leveraging ‘Hungry for Better Chicken’ will enable us to cohesively tell our dynamic brand story – past, present and future. This campaign is designed to showcase our product attributes most correlated with consumer purchase intent, and extend to our current and future product portfolio,” said David Zucker, CMO and SVP of E-Commerce for Perdue. “We deliver this original messaging with an approachable, smart-funny tone to position PERDUE as the expert who has pioneered animal care and premium protein for more than 100 years, and highlight our drive to exceed customer expectations – not only to make people ‘hungry’ for PERDUE, but also to demonstrate how we, as a brand, are ‘hungry’ to continuously improve.”
