EACA – the European Association of Communications Agencies – is hosting a three-day event ‘Evolution Lab’ in Brussels, from October 16th to 18th. Evolution Lab combines EACA agency member meetings, a full-day conference on artificial intelligence and the Euro Effies’ Awards Gala, both taking place on October 17th and open to everybody.
International advertising and media agency networks, national agency associations’ directors, academics, top agency executives and advertisers, are expected to join the event for a great learning and networking experience.
The conference on ‘Advertising in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’ will gather players from across the ad industry to debate how artificial intelligence will change the ad industry, how agencies can accommodate these changes and lead them, and how to ensure that graduates have the skills needed to thrive in the changing market. The conference will feature speakers from different industry players such as Dominic Grainger (CEO EMEA, Group M), Claude Chauffiotte (MD, Accenture Interactive France), Samuel Ellis (Business Director, M&C Saatchi), Carl Erik Kjaersgaard (CEO and Co-founder, Blackwood 7), Lisa de Bonis (Executive Digital Director, Havas London), Elodie Prudhomme (Data Science Director, Publicis ETO) and Wouter Vandenameele (Digital Strategy Director, PHD).
The day will end with a thrilling night of the Euro Effies’ Award Gala rewarding the most effective marketing campaigns in Europe. Shortlisted agencies in categories such as ‘positive change’, ‘media innovation’ and service-specific categories for retail, consumer goods etc. will be awarded.
