Evolution Bureau Bolsters Talent in New Boulder Creative Office With Two Hires
Full-service digital marketing agency Evolution Bureau expands its presence and capabilities in Colorado today with two talented additions to its new creative office in Boulder. David Gonsalves and Rich Ford both join EVB from Boulder-based Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where each worked for at least three years.
“Rich and Dave are the real deal,” said Daniel Stein, EVB’s founder and CEO. “Under Steve Babcock, they have done some great work together in the past, and we look forward to adding their skill set to Evolution Bureau. Not only are they extremely talented, but they are also a great cultural fit for our agency.”
The Boulder office is the second opened within 10 months by the San Francisco-based shop. EVB added a London location last spring to offer global service to its U.S. clients and local service to its international clients, which include Chivas Regal.
Gonsalves will serve as an associate creative director. He was Senior Art Director at CP+B, where his work earned a broad spectrum of honors, including a MediaMind Rich Media Award, Titanium Grand Prix at Cannes, LIAs, CLIOs, ANDYs and ADDYs. Brands on which Gonsalves worked include Best Buy, Microsoft, B-cycle, Burger King, Gap and Coke Zero.
Rich Ford will be a creative director for EVB. At CP+B, the Colorado native was an associate creative director, working mainly on Burger King, Best Buy and Applebee’s and also assisting with Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, American Express and Jell-O. His best-known work there was Best Buy's “Game on, Santa” holiday campaign, as well as Applebee’s “Lunch Decoy.”
