eurobest Releases 2017 Innovation Shortlist

eurobest has today released the entries shortlisted for this year’s Innovation award. You can view the shortlist here.

In advance of the festival, the Innovation jury, led by Dylan Williams, Partner & Chief Strategic Officer, Droga5, have reviewed the 26 entries received into the category, arriving at a shortlist of 10. Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands and United Kingdom all have 2 shortlisted entries while Poland and Norway have one entry each.

The shortlist presentations will take place on Tuesday 28th November from 14:30 – 16:30 and are open to all delegates to attend. Presenters from R/GA London, POL Oslo, FCB Warsaw, Abby Priest, Stockholm, Serviceplan, Munchen, Åkestam Holst Stockholm, Heimat Berlin and N=5 Amsterdam have a unique opportunity to meet with the esteemed jury, field questions and provide further insights to their ideas.

With thought-provoking talks from some of Europe’s foremost creative minds, innovation and technology is weaved throughout the content ensuring that attendees are exposed to some truly future-facing ideas.

Three diverse stages play host to progressive thinkers like Victor Knaap and Joris Pol of MediaMonks who explore how they bring big ideas to life, using technology to craft digital brand experiences and Karmarama who bring together a range of different opinions around the importance of start-ups and innovation in the creative process and how they impact on corporate growth. UNIT9’s Yifei Chai examines how we can create human experiences through machine interactions while Andy Fowler, Brothers and Sisters and Cathal McAteer, Folk Clothing will launch the world’s first ‘protest jacket’, an experimental creative and technological project.

“Innovation is a core element of our events from the logistical elements of moving to a new city each year to the technology that enables us to change how we display the work. Those that present their ideas in front of the live jury this year are hopefully the creators and thinkers that will speak on stages around the world in the future, outlining the success and learnings of their innovations,” said Charlotte Williams, Festival Director, eurobest.

Press registration is now open and eurobest welcomes media from across Europe to attend.
