The European Festival of Creativity, Eurobest, has opened for delegate registrations, inviting the creative communications industry from across the region to come together in Helsinki to interact, learn and debate.
Since 2008, Eurobest has moved around Europe, visiting major creative cities including Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Lisbon, with the purpose of driving and inspiring creativity across the continent. Taking place in Helsinki in December 2014, the Festival and Awards arrive in one of Europe’s most dynamic creative capitals this year. Helsinki is home to over 7,700 creative companies, meaning the industry forms more than 12% of all businesses operating in the Helsinki metropolis area. “Helsinki is a city that actively encourages creativity to flourish, providing the perfect environment for Eurobest to call home in December,” says Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals. “Everything about taking the Festival to Helsinki feels right; it’s a true hub of start-ups and creativity right now and we are delighted that this innovative city will play host to the Festival and Awards.”
With a combination of keynote speeches, interactive forums and intimate sessions, the content at Eurobest is being crafted so that delegates can programme their own tailored Festival experiences, to get the maximum benefits and enjoyment. To drive this, proposals for a wide range of content are currently being accepted through the website. All submissions will be reviewed and those ideas that are successful will be developed and nurtured to ensure that the session generates maximum learning and impact. Anyone wishing to submit an exciting idea or bring a ground-breaking speaker can do so here.
Eurobest’s provocative and inspiring programme of content forms part of a Festival that also offers fantastic training prospects through young creative competitions and academies, as well as networking opportunities that are both meaningful and fun. Alongside this, the Awards allow for a celebration and reflection on Europe’s trends, innovations and creative output.
Eurobest is taking place from 1-3 December at The Finlandia Hall in Helsinki, Finland. Anybody wishing to join the creative gathering can register at www.eurobest.com and benefit from an earlybird discount before 26 September.
