CMW has been appointed to help global skincare brand Eucerin to strengthen its presence in the UK, starting with a campaign later this spring to launch its ‘Even Brighter’ range in print, online, social and CRM.
The appointment further strengthens CMW’s relationship with Beiersdorf, which includes digital stewardship of Nivea for Men across Northern Europe and Elastoplast in the UK.
Liz Wilson, CEO, CMW said: “We’re very proud to be growing our relationship with Beiersdorf; Eucerin has real stature in its more established markets and a growing opportunity here, given the UK’s increasing interest in more specialist skincare. It’s one of the best kept secrets of the skincare market and we look forward to putting that right for our highly targeted audience.”
Eucerin is a 100 year old specialist skin care range, with a history of skin science innovation dating back to its medical roots in 1900. Today, Eucerin is recognised as one of the leading and most trustworthy dermo cosmetic brands, recommended daily all over the world by dermatologists and pharmacists. However awareness amongst women in the UK remains low. The appointment of CMW represents the first step to capitalising on this opportunity to build the brand amongst the existing and new audience with skin needs. The Even Brighter range is the brand’s flagship innovation for 2013. First work appears late Spring 2013.
Becky Lee, brand manager, Eucerin said: “Eucerin is a brand that builds enormous trust with people and we are committed to providing solutions that work for all skin’s requirements; in CMW we’ve found a partner who can help us to grow the brand by building closer bonds with existing and new audiences."
