Global marketing and communications director joins German jury for this year's competition
Essity's Tanja Grubner has been announced a juror at this year's Immortal Awards, joining the German jury.

Tanja is a global marketer and passionate about growing businesses by building brands with a purpose that are worthy being invited into culture. She believes in brand bravery, championing change and creative effectiveness. She’s been nominated as Creativity All Star by ad age and Female Frontier for two years in a row. Her brands are part of the advertising archives of the MOMA (NYC) and the Louvre (Paris) and received 200+ awards incl. Cannes Lions Grandprix for Glass, Titanium Lions, D&AD black pencil of the decade, Immortal Awards (only brand to win 3 consecutive years) APG Grandprix for creative strategy, WARC Grandprix for effective use of brand purpose .

In her current role as Global Marketing & Comms Director at Essity for the FemCare Category (with brands like Libresse or Bodyform), she redefined the global brand positioning, purpose, brand identity - disrupting the Feminine Care category forever. The taboo breaking campaigns #bloodnormal, Viva La Vulva, #wombstories, #painstories tackled toxic stereotypes around periods, vaginas and women’s bodies and put the brands Libresse/Bodyform among the top 5 creative brands in the world (WARC 2019, 2020). That's bloody lovely but even better, it's improving millions of women’s+ lives worldwide.

In the last 18+ years at Essity and Mediacom working for P&G, she’s lived across 3 continents, worked across a broad range of brands and FMCG categories in regional and global roles always having innovation, design, sustainability but above all the consumer in mind, continuously raising the bar and challenging norms.
