ESPN Shares Emotional Montage of Team's Biggest Sporting Moments Ahead of CFB National Championship
ESPN has partnered with creative agency McKinney and production company Stept Studios to release its latest creative work ahead of Monday's anticipated matchup between Alabama and Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship. Following a challenging 2020 for college football - both emotionally and logistically - the :15-, 30-, and 60-second spots take an honest and introspective look at the season and what college football meant in a year unlike any other.


In the creative work that went to market on 4th January, a narrator describes the uncertainty that college football endured all year and how Monday's National Championship is a celebration for everyone - not just Alabama / Ohio State - as the championship symbolises the culmination of a tough yet memorable season.


The spots for the National Championship feature a reimagined, custom orchestral interpretation of Eminem's Grammy Award-Winning track 'Not Afraid' to further portrait fan emotions from throughout the season intercut with on-field moments that led to Monday's final game.

McKinney additionally developed similar spots for the playoff selection announcement and the College Football Playoff Semifinals.
