Following a series of high-profile new business wins with brands such as Lowes, 20th Century Fox, Men’s Wearhouse, Puma, Tempur-Sealy International and John Deere, EP+Co is strengthening its leadership team within the agency. The expansion - which sees 12 employees elevated throughout the leadership team - is also a reflection of the agency’s ongoing commitment to organisational growth.
“This is a pretty exciting time for us at EP+Co - amazing things are happening with even more amazing clients, so it’s crucial that we have the right leadership team in place to help us keep unthinking the way we do business for our clients,” said EP+Co chief creative officer and president Con Williamson. “These leaders of our agency are doing the hard work of driving success, growth and problem solving each and every day, and we think we have a pretty outstanding team in place ready to do just that.”
The leadership team expansion crosses a number of disciplines and departments in the agency’s New York and South Carolina offices.
Chris Plating, director, brand & channel strategy; Karen Mawhinney, managing director; and Kat Shafer, managing director have all been named as EVPs within the organisation and will join the agency’s executive leadership team. Danny Miller, director, content production and Vicky Gonzalez, director, production & business systems ops, will also join the executive leadership team after being elevated to SVPs.
The agency’s team of officer’s, comprised of key leaders and innovators within the organisation, has also been bolstered with the following changes: Carolyn Philips, group account director, has been elevated to SVP and Charlotte Stirrup, executive content producer; Emily Rule, planning director; Jeff Fischer, senior business affairs manager; Leslie Scott, director, creative technology; and Rebecca Lynch, director of communications, are all named as VPs. Amanda Baizen, account director, was also recently hired from BBDO New York and joins the agency as a VP.
