Enter Two Realities with This Music Video for French Rapper Orelsan

A new music video has launched for Orelsan's new single, directed by his longtime collaborator and LA PAC director, Quentin Deronzier. The new film, 'Ensemble', comes from his latest chart-topping album, 'Civilisation', largely produced by Skread, and follows his biographical documentary on Prime Video. The video visualises the song's lyrics, depicting the French rapper/songwriter/producer and his girlfriend trying to maintain their difficult relationship, with camera effects reflecting the two realities.

The music video illustrates a couple that is going through a difficult time. Orelsan questions his attitude within his relationship and will do everything to reconnect with his girlfriend. Many scenes are divided into two realities to illustrate the distance between the protagonists. Throughout the music video, Orelsan and his girlfriend will try to find each other, to reunite these two realities.

The camera is at the heart of the emotion. It enters the intimacy of the duo. The focal lengths are short to get physically close to the action. In the levitating scenes, the camera movements intensify to increase the emotion of the reunion.
