Emma RadUCANu as LTA and The&Partnership Celebrate Extraordinary Time in British Tennis

Campaign launches in Emma's hometown of Bromley before rolling out across the UK

Emma RadUCANu as LTA and The&Partnership Celebrate Extraordinary Time in British Tennis

This week LTA and The&Partnership launch a reactive OOH and social campaign celebrating the incredible achievements of Emma Raducanu, who has sky-rocketed to fame since becoming a record-breaking US Open champion at just 18 years old.

Located in sites in Raducanu’s hometown of Bromley, the OOH creative mirrors a young Emma, determined on the tennis court, with today’s Grand Slam winner – “From Bromley, to the world.” In other national OOH sites, her name is cleverly used to highlight 'U CAN' – an empowering, inspiring call-to-action to everyone to pick up a racket and get playing.

Similar creative is also live across social highlighting the benefits of LTA’s Youth Programme, of which Raducanu is an Official Ambassador. The LTA Youth programme is a kids’ tennis programme that launched earlier this year. It has been developed using the latest research and science, with content designed to ensure children have a fun, enjoyable and positive experience and want to come back – and of course, with LTA Accredited Coaches and schools at its heart. A TV commercial will run concurrently to the reactive campaign promoting the programme, with signatures from its three Official Ambassadors: Emma Raducanu, Paul Jubb and Lucy Shuker.

Adam Hewlett, head of brand marketing, said: “We are so proud of Emma Raducanu and all of our British tennis players’ performances at the US Open. Their success can be an inspiration to the nation to get out there and play! This whole campaign embodies the values of our brand platform ‘Play Your Way’, which is a commitment to opening tennis up to the nation.”

Yan Elliott, executive creative director, The&Partnership commented: “It’s an extraordinary time in British tennis – and what an extraordinary campaign to boot! Being reactive and dynamic is always top of our agenda, and we couldn’t be prouder to see this campaign out there in the world.”
