El Ojo de Iberoamérica, which brings together creative marketing and advertising professionals from all over the world, opened its first day with more than a thousand attendees including students, creatives, and marketing professionals from countries like Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Peru, Argentina and the USA, among others.
During the first day, world--‐renowned creative and advertisingleaders took the stage.
The day began with Laurence Boschetto, CEO andPresident of Draftfcb Worldwide, who spoke of the close relationship between art and business and its parallel with advertising, a presentation he completed with the presence of Draftfcb RegionalCreative Director Javier Campopiano.
Next up was Martín Montoya, President of W/McCann, who spoke about “How to Help Good Ideas Survive?” and inspired the audience to put aside their fears in order to carry out ideas and see the results. João Batista Ciaco, Director of Advertising and Relationship Marketing for Fiat Brazil and Latin America, spoke about what he believes is needed to develop the big ideas that can make a brand great.

Cavalletti, Chief Integrated Officer of JWT Brasil, in which he sharedhis advice on how small ideas,
When accompanied byintegration, can become large and successful.
The founders of David, the new Ogilvy Group agency, closed the first day’s lecture series. Gastón Bigio,Regional Creative Director of Ogilvy & Mather Latina and Anselmo Ramos, Vice President of Creative for Ogilvy & Mather Brazil, took the stage andshared the story of how thisnew venture began and what inspired them tocarry it out. They concluded with one of the central points of their philosophy: "In the world of reinvention, innovation is the currency."

The most important festival of the Spanish-speaking world continues today, Thursday November 15th, with presentations from: Pedro Saborido, Eduardo Mangarelli, Fernando Bellotti, Renata Dcoussau, Chuck Brymer and Guido Rosales, and winners will be announced for El Ojo Direct, El Ojo Promo, El Ojo Innovation, El Mobile and El Ojo Interactive.
