Independent Duncan Channon has been named creative agency of record for Ferrara Candy Co. brand Black Forest.
Black Forest, best known for its award-winning gummy bears with a soft, chewy texture, is a priority in Ferrara Candy Co.’s portfolio this year.
Duncan Channon will be responsible for strategy and creative to build the Black Forest brand, including launching a new integrated campaign in summer 2020. The agency’s first task will be a TV spot in support of a cause-based promotional campaign from Black Forest.

The business was awarded to the agency following a competitive review in fall 2019. Duncan Channon currently handles strategy and creative duties for SweeTARTS, also in Ferrara Candy Co.’s portfolio. In 2019, DC launched SweeTARTS’ ‘Be Both’ campaign to reach Gen Z candy lovers.
