Distell brand Savanna Premium Cider has been rated in poll position in the Alcoholic Drinks: Cider Category of the 2012 ICON Brand Survey, according to a statement released July 18.
Conducted by TGI in partnership with City Press and Rapport, ICON identifies brands which are ‘ubiquitous, and used by South Africans irrespective of race, creed or colour’.
To celebrate the brand’s achievement, its marketing partner Draftfcb Cape Town created this ad making use of the dry humour with which the brand has become associated.
