The contrasting styles of beat-makers Lunice and The Alchemist have collided on a new project to create the soundtrack for Red Bull’s BC One World Final.
Hip-hop legend The Alchemist has cemented his position as a staple of the genre, having worked with everyone from the likes of Eminem and Mobb Deep to Earl Sweatshirt and Migos. Montreal-born Lunice, on the other hand, brings a new school production style, fresh from numerous collaborations with the likes of Hudson Mohawke and Diplo.
For the soundtrack, they worked with local musicians, Yussef Dayes and Niels Broos in studios across London, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam.
Dolce commissioned by Red Bull to license the music for this brand partnership, in collaboration with Dutch streetwear brand Patta.
The soundtrack has been released as an 8 track EP called ‘Moving Parts’ on limited vinyl, as well as digitally through LuckyMe.
