Australian streaming site, Stan, have confirmed season two of comedy series ‘Bump’, with Gracie Otto set to direct, following a hugely successful first season.
The ten part 30-minute series, created by Kelsey Munro, was first released on New Year's Day 2021, and follows school girl, Oly, who gives birth to a baby she was not expecting while at school.
Gracie has previous series-directing experience, including for Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts 2020 nominee ‘The Other Guy’, created by and centered around comedian and radio host, Matt Okine, who finds himself single for the first time in ten years after discovering his long-term girlfriend has been having an affair with his best friend - and there’s a baby on the way.
Season second of ‘Bump’ is released ahead of Gracie’s next project, ‘musical dramedy’ Seriously Red, starring Krew Boylan, Daniel Webber, Rose Byrne, Celeste Barber, Bobby Cannavale and Jack Thompson, which started shooting in November. The film will be distributed by Arclight in the USA and Roadshow in Australia. It is the first feature film under Otto’s company, Dollhouse Pictures, formed with Rose Byrne and Shannon Murphy.
Gracie is commercially represented by Dog Eat Dog in the UK with notable campaigns for Bonds, Vogue, Maybelline and Laud magazine.
