Do the Things You've Always Dreamed with Dolphin Walk-In Showers

Dolphin Walk-In Showers, a company dedicated to enabling people with diminishing mobility to enjoy bathing in a luxurious, spacious and safe space, has unveiled its first TV ad today, boldly encouraging the elderly to do the things they’ve always meant to.

The 30-second TV spot titled ‘Skydive’, created by new brand building, communications and analytics agency Boldspace, is the first instalment of a series where we see an elderly man skydiving, shouting to his wife Brenda ‘when I said we should do the things we always meant to, I was talking about the bathroom!’. The spot pays off with the Dolphin product experience and promise to ‘fit it in just one day’.

The strategy, led by Boldspace co-founder Nick Ford-Young, taps into assisted-living renovations often being put off despite the need, whilst challenging the ’helpless’ stereotype of the elderly portrayed by many brands; instead focussing on life being for living, and positioning Dolphin as the facilitator of this.

Dolphin Walk-In Showers and Boldspace aired the first ‘One Day’ ad – ‘Skydive’ on ITV on 11th March 2021.
