Discover New Music with Rob from A-MNEMONIC

If you like to discover new and interesting music then read on. Rob from A-MNEMONIC shares his latest mix-tape of new music releases (and a few older tracks) for you to enjoy!

I’ve not been able to share my playlist for the last few weeks, so this week I’m treating you to 20 great songs which I’m currently loving.

First on my playlist this week is the track ‘Particle’ by Hundred Waters. This was released earlier in 2017 but I’ve only just discovered it and wanted to share it with you. The song starts with a pleasant piano melody propelled by Nicole Miglis relaxing voice. Then the floor drops, and the vocals disappear behind a subtle EDM drop with bubblegum synths. It’s a smooth electro-pop track that’s one part Calvin Harris and one part the xx.

Cologne-based singer/producer Marius Lauber, aka Roosevelt, released this glorious sun-drenched cover of Womack & Womack’s 1988 classic “Teardrops” back in late 2016. I’ve only just discovered it and asbolutely loving it. Apparently it’s one of his favourite tracks of all time and he always finds it a special moment playing it live – I certainly love listing to it.

Psych Rockers Moon Duo are back with a new limited edition 12″, featuring covers of classic songs by Alan Vega of Suicide and The Stooges. Their new take on Vega’s “Jukebox Babe” is streaming now, and the 12″, which also features The Stooges’ “No Fun,” is due for release on January 19th. Here’s my full playlist for you to enjoy:
