Agency appointed to communicate a simple, powerful message in a crowded and especially complicated market

London-based creative comms agency Dirt & Glory Media will be running the communications, social media and editorial content for tech led renewable energy supplier, Tonik Energy.

Tonik Energy was established to give homeowners the power to significantly reduce their energy bills, and to make renewable, sustainable energy more accessible. The next decade is going to see huge change as homeowners get genuine insight into energy usage combined with access to smart, in-home, energy efficient technologies that will help you use less energy, access cheaper energy and generate your own energy.

Through technology and the interpretation of smart data, Tonik Energy’s overarching ambition is to halve customers’ bills by 2022.

Nigel Brown, Managing Director at Dirt & Glory Media says, “Tonik heralds a paradigm shift in the way we consume energy. It is a great privilege to be working with such a forward-thinking brand and to be asked to communicate their story, which is such an exciting and important one. Ten years down the line, we will look back and wonder how the ‘big six’ dominated the market for so long.”

Tonik Energy was looking for an agency who could communicate a simple, powerful message in a crowded and especially complicated market.

Chris Russell, Managing Director of Tonik Energy says, “We wanted an agency who really bought into our two-fold quest to cut bills and be environmentally sustainable. We want to help homeowners use less energy, benefit from cheaper energy and generate their own energy with cutting edge technology. Dirt and Glory Media was the agency that completely understood this.”

Russell continues, “We were also looking for a fast moving, dynamic agency that could match the spirit of our company, which Dirt & Glory visibly demonstrated.”
