Great Guns has announced two new additions to its roster: Rollo Hollins and Chris Neal.
Rollo Hollins has shot a number of award-winning films, commercials, and music videos based between London and L.A, for high-profile brands such as Samsung, Mercedes, and Epson. Prior to expanding his repertoire into directing, Rollo initially honed his skills behind the camera as a DoP for eight years, training under the maverick Director and DoP, Chris Herd.
Strengthened by his strong cinematography background, Rollo’s work boasts enticing and beautifully-crafted visuals. However, it’s his talent for capturing rich narrative and effortlessly natural performances that elevates his films to far more than just pretty pictures, and blurs the line between authored and discovered content.
Commenting on the signing, Rollo says: “I'm really honoured to be joining the roster at Great Guns. We’re working in very exciting times with an audience that’s hungry and incredibly f**king clever. I want to make work that continuously adapts and surprises them - sharper, bolder, and more emotionally challenging films - and I think Great Guns is the best place for me to do that. I can't wait to see what we'll make together.”
American Director Chris Neal has built up a strong portfolio of commercials, short films and music videos, and his work has been commissioned by brands such as McDonald’s and Nissan. A master storyteller, Chris’ films expertly capture the emotional power behind personal stories - bringing a fresh perspective to challenging topics. This documentary-style approach, coupled with a keen eye for visuals, characterises Chris’ unique filmmaking style.
“I’m beyond excited to join Great Guns,” comments Chris. “They truly understand and value my creative style. I can’t wait to develop and grow alongside the best in the industry! I also love that they see potential and value young talent. The directors whose careers they’ve built up over the years are testament to that. I’m stoked to join the team and to push my own work and creativity.”
Great Guns will represent both directors internationally.
