Director Nora Fingscheidt Signs with REKORDER

​Nora is known for her raw and authentic directing style. Her work is intense, emotional and her storytelling explores the lives of marginalised characters with a commitment to social realism. She uses a documentary-like approach, with hand-held cameras, natural lighting and naturalistic performances to capture the rawness of human experiences. Through her films, Nora creates a powerful and immersive atmosphere, using close-ups and long takes to evoke strong emotions from the audience. 

Her last film release has been the successful 'The Unforgivable' featuring Sandra Bullock, streaming on Netflix. Her next film to be released in 2024 is 'The Outrun' with Saoirse Ronan as the female lead protagonist. ​

"What I find really exciting about doing commercials is the options for visual and creative storytelling you have when you don't have to fill two hours, but can go all out in 30 seconds. You can have completely crazy ideas that stretch the boundaries of what a feature-film narrative can do,” explains director Nora Fingscheidt.
