Director Karen Cunningham Joins 2AM

2AM welcomes the multi-award winning director Karen Cunningham to their roster.

Karen is best known for the extraordinary naturalistic performances she gleans from children. That coupled with a strong cinematic aesthetic and compelling storytelling makes her films both wonderfully engaging and re-watchable, but also very powerful. 

Casting, casting, casting is how Karen summed herself up. She is literally all about the casting and that is patently obvious when you watch her reel; incredibly authentic characters with genuine depth, warmth and real charm.

Nick Crabb, 2AM owner, MD/exec producer, said: “Seriously, Karen is the best children’s performance director in commercials today, she’s an incredibly talented director with an extensive wealth of experience which complements our roster perfectly. She most definitely knows her craft. Karen of course doesn’t just do children, she’s a performance director, and this is something we are very keen to develop further together.”
