Fresh Film has announced that they are to represent New York’s acclaimed producer and director Jonathan Lia of Good Company in the UK and throughout most of Europe.
Jonathan has directed multiple beauty campaigns for L’Oreal, featuring talent including Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, Julianne Moore, Diane Keaton, Lara Stone, Barbara Palvin, and many more. He was just nominated for the BET Music Video Director of the Year for co-directing alongside artist Bruno Mars for the smash hit, “That’s What I Like.” He’s also directed commercial campaigns for Revlon, Spike TV and videos for artists including Selena Gomez with A$AP Rocky, Haim, Mika, Olly Murs, and many more.
Jonathan Lia founded Good Company along with partners Brian Welsh and Ryan Heiferman in 2011. Over the last six years they have evolved into a highly creative collective of conceptual producers, directors, editors, artists, and technologists. They offer full service creative solutions to some of the world’s most famous artists and brands.
As a producer, Jonathan has had a prolific career, having produced hundreds of music videos for iconic artists such as Beyoncé, Kanye West, Madonna, and Depeche Mode. The latter for which Jonathan earned a Grammy nomination for the critically acclaimed video, “Wrong.” He’s also produced long form projects such as Beyoncé’s Lemonade (Peabody Award 2017), Kanye’s Runaway and Cruel Summer, and live concert films for Beyoncé, Madonna, and Aziz Ansari.
Jonathan’s work has garnered many awards and nominations from the Grammys, Emmys, Peabody Awards, National Board of Review, VMAs, UKMVAs, and Brit Awards.
