DigitasLBi Promotes Matt Steward to Managing Director Role

Global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has promoted Client Partner Matt Steward to the role of Managing Director, UK.

Steward joined DigitasLBi from RKCR/Y&R in March 2015, and has since helped grow a number of the agency’s flagship accounts, helping to lead the agency’s client service offering and forging new strategic partnerships with some of the UK’s biggest brands.

Prior to joining DigitasLBi, Steward spent 12 years at RKCR/Y&R in a number of client service and new business roles, including the position of Joint Managing Director.

In his new role, Steward will continue to report in to Michael Islip, who was promoted to the role of Chief Executive, UK at DigitasLBi earlier this year.

Michael Islip, Chief Executive, UK, DigitasLBi said: “We're super excited about Matt taking on this new role. He has first-rate experience of working at the most senior level with some of the most exciting brands in the UK, and is perfectly placed to help drive our business forward.”

Matt Steward, Managing Director, UK, DigitasLBi, said: “DigitasLBi has a quite remarkable range and diversity of incredible talent. It’s hugely exciting to be able to blend creativity, technology and data to answer big business challenges for a great client list. I’m really looking forward to stepping up and helping our clients deliver some truly transformational work.”
