Digitas welcome Katsuhiko Kikuchi as Senior Vice President Global Clients, spearheading Digitas Japan from the Tokyo head quarters.
Katsuhiko Kikuchi’s appointment further fortifies Digitas’ expanding regional leadership team in Asia Pacific. Kikuchi will report directly to Vincent Digonnet, President Asia Pacific with a remit to guide Digitas’ roster of Japanese brands to enjoy greater success as global brands. He joins to lead the Digitas team after six years at Ogilvy Japan, most recently as the General Manager of OgilvyOne Tokyo.
Speaking of the appointment, Vincent Digonnet, President Asia Pacific said, ‘Katsuhiko Kikuchi is a proven, senior Japanese business leader with a deep understanding of both the domestic and international needs of global brands. His appointment as Senior Vice President Global Clients based in Tokyo, leading global work for Digitas’ Japanese clients, recognises the fact that Japanese brands will not develop into genuine global brands without the combination of a global network and a global leadership based in Japan. This is a paradigm change from the past 30 years where global developments were led out of New York, London or Paris.’
Kikuchi will manage and develop Digitas Japan’s full global client roster including Delta Air Lines. He will also oversee the relationship with both the domestic and international divisions of global clients, leading the team to deliver international work through Digitas’ worldwide network.
