Dial For Men 'Muckdown 2013'
United in an allegiance to wearing dirt as a badge of honor, Henkel’s Dial For Men® brand launched a social competition that pits state against state and promises to filthily reward a few participants.
Muckdown 2013 is the newest element of Dial For Men’s “Get Your Dirt On” campaign. Designed to find out which state takes the most pride in their grime, Muckdown 2013 is housed in a custom-built Facebook app and relies on consumer votes, as well as uploaded photos and videos, to determine which state can claim the mantle of muddiest.
“We are very excited to launch Dial For Men’s Muckdown 2013 competition, and cannot wait to see participants rally behind their states and share their dirt filled stories. We believe there is a strong sense of pride that comes from getting dirty while doing something you love,” said Daniel Langer, SVP & General Manager.
Launched March 12, consumers who visit www.muckdown.com or www.facebook.com/dialformen and declare their allegiance to their home state in the Muckdown 2013 app could win a Jeep Wrangler or a muddy weekend adventure in the winning state.
Dial For Men officials will review all submitted content and select ambassadors from each state. All 50 ambassadors will be awarded gear prize packs from Outside Magazine.
The top three ambassadors who have uploaded the best content and rallied the most votes for their state by the end of the competition will win a weekend Muckdown adventure in the winning state.
Consumers may vote once a day and each vote is another entry in the sweepstakes for the Jeep Wrangler.
