David&Goliath announced today the hire of Michele Tebbe as Group Account Director. She officially joined the agency’s 45-person account management department in September, reporting to D&G’s President Brian Dunbar. Most recently, Michele served as Global Account Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA since 2011.
In her new role as one of two group account directors at D&G, Tebbe will oversee a major account for the agency (which has yet to be announced), in addition to working on new business opportunities.
“Michele’s creative sensibilities and digital savvy, combined with her track record of driving business results for clients, make her an incredibly valuable asset to our account management leadership team," said Brian Dunbar. “She has a wide range of integrated marketing experience, including Consumer Electronics, CPG, Retail, Financial Services, and Automotive, that will benefit the agency’s current clients as well as new business opportunities. She’ll be a great contributor to the momentum of the agency."
Her more than 16 years of agency experience include roles at many of the industry’s top shops, including TBWA\Chiat\Day, 180LA, Grey Group and DraftFCB. Tebbe is particularly adept at the digital side of the business, leading many integrated campaigns for clients including Sony, Bank of America, the Recording Academy (Grammys), Nissan, United Airlines, Sears and Visa.
“I’ve had my eye on this agency since I first saw the range of creativity on the Kia work,” said Tebbe. “And it’s not just Kia, it’s the way D&G approaches the California Lottery business, VIZIO — their entire roster. The integrated nature of the agency was very attractive to me, along with their reputation of having a strong culture. Their brave philosophy applies to everything they do and it’s something that I really believe in. I see this new role as an opportunity for me to significantly contribute to the growth of an agency.”
