Deutsch LA has hired Derek Richmond, formerly of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, as SVP and Director of Digital Production. This is part of a big Deutsch LA investment in digital—in fact, 14 of our last 16 creative hires have been digital people.

Derek brings more than 20 years of production experience and leadership in traditional, and interactive and digital channels. He previously held positions at 180LA as Director of Integrated Production, and at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as Director of Digital Production.
Derek was responsible for interactive and emerging technology projects for clients on those agency’s rosters, including the “Now Network” rebranding campaign for Sprint, which won several Cyber Lion awards at Cannes for its forward-thinking digital campaign. He has also managed digital production for clients such as Sony, Mitsubishi, Yahoo!, Adobe, HP, Coca-Cola, and the NBA.
