Deutsch today announces the addition of Martin Mannion as SVP, director of professional strategy, in the New York office. Mannion will lead professional planning on the agency’s global Johnson & Johnson Vision business and new business initiatives. Most recently EVP, chief strategy officer, at Guidemark Health, Mannion has over 20 years of strategy and branding experience.
Deutsch oversees the IPG open architecture model for the global J&J Vision business, leading all creative, strategy and media across the IPG family of agencies. Jayme Maultasch, managing director of IPG Vision, the global architecture team for J&J Vision franchise, noted: “Martin was a must-hire for Deutsch.
He’s a brilliant professional planner and knows how to integrate consumer and professional insights and ideas that consistently drive business results. While chief strategy officer at Guidemark Health, Mannion was responsible for the design and implementation of customized, strategic solutions for global and U.S.-based brands including Evofem Biosciences, Fresenius Home Care and the PaxVax and Seqirus vaccine franchises. Prior to Guidemark Health, he was chief strategy officer at ICC Lowe and also gained experience at inVentiv Communications/Y Brand and Sudler & Hennessey.
