Destress with REWIND's Groundbreaking Meditation VR Game

Immersive production studio, REWIND, has been appointed by global brand and product studio, HOO KOO E KOO, to create a next-generation groundbreaking virtual reality (VR) meditation game.

The game will be an adaptation of the philosophy in the successful book Just Sit: A Meditation Guidebook for People Who Know They Should But Don't. Authored by Sukey and Elizabeth Novogratz - who both traveled different paths to discovering the benefits of meditation - the easy-to-use meditation guidebook helps even the busiest and most skeptical would-be meditators embrace meditation and incorporate the practice into their daily lifestyle.

The virtual reality game, which is in early development, is expected to launch in 2021. Users will be able to construct their own multi-dimensional happy place, together with a companion - an evolving spirit animal that guides you on a journey of self-discovery. The game will encourage players to maximise their time and build strong habits to help in their everyday lives.

Sukey and Elizabeth from Just Sit described the vision for the project: “Over time, the game will evolve into an immersive meditation social platform, where you can view other players' islands, partake in mass meditations and classes organised by wellness brands and teachers, and interact with other users in their islands.”
