Despite It All, Pets are the Best in Pets at Home Campaign from The&Partnership London

Pets at Home is launching the first fully integrated campaign under its new brand communication platform, ‘We’re better with pets.’

The campaign is the first in a new, long-term creative approach for Pets at Home to establish its unique offer as a full-service pet care business, in which it provides a breadth of support for pet owners, including veterinary care, grooming, health plans and subscriptions and the Pets at Home VIP club. 

‘We’re better with pets’ is both a celebration of how pets enrich our lives as humans, as well as an authority claim for Pets at Home, who with their family of services, offer the expertise and knowledge for pet owners to be the best they can be.

The campaign was shot by award-winning director Nicolas Jack Davies through Sweetshop. It champions the realisms that come with pet ownership and the extra mile we’ll go for our pets, positioning Pets at Home’s vets, groomers and pet care advisors as there to help through all the ups and downs. 

Karen Williams, Group Marketing Director at Pets at Home, said: “We want to show customers that we truly understand what it’s like to have pets as part of our families and that we’re here for them, through thick and thin. Pets bring us so much joy and ‘We’re better with pets’ is a true celebration of both the magic bond we have with them and Pets at Home’s role to support pet owners, every step of the way.”  

The activity, which goes live across TV, Broadcast VOD, social and digital, lands after a period in which pet ownership is at an all-time high and when many new pet families are in genuine need of advice and support.

From the early morning wake-up calls, muddy paws and cage cleaning, to toilet training mishaps and mischievous puppies; what makes it all worth it is the irreplaceable bond we have with them. Ultimately, we’re all better with pets and there’s no one better placed than Pets at Home to advocate that” said Micky Tudor, Joint Executive Creative Director, The&Partnership London.
