Dept Wins at the Social Media Awards in Ireland

Dept has won Best Twitter Account – Agency at the Social Media Awards in Ireland for its work with Xbox Ireland.

Dept was nominated in three different categories:

- The Best Facebook Account Award – Agency Run (Finalist)

- The Best Twitter Account – Agency Run (Winner)

- The Best Agency Award of 2018 (Finalist)

The day-to-day work and activities on Xbox Ireland’s Twitter account particularly appealed to the judges. Dept has been working closely with Xbox Ireland since 2014. The agency engaged with the Irish gaming community and created a space for gamers to interact with the brand and with each other.

The annual awards ceremony (known as the Sockies) celebrates the best of social media across Ireland. Entries are judged by a panel of digital industry professionals each year. The event takes place at the RDS in Dublin.
