Three for Chocomel, five for Bol.com and one for creative Bruce de Kok.
These are the nominations that digital agency Dept has received for the fifth edition of The Best Social Awards.
The awards annually praise the most creative, funny and innovative Dutch social media content.
From the submitted work, the content for Chocomel was nominated in the category ‘Best newsjacking examples’, ‘Best webcare’ and ‘Best copywriting’. Chocomel was praised for catchy texts, daring webcare answers and creative newsjacking.
The work for Bol.com was nominated in the same categories, but received two nominations in the category ‘Best newsjacking examples’, one for Temptation Island content and for a Gay Pride post. In addition, the webshop is also up for an award in the category ‘Best brand’. For this category, the votes of the public are equally decisive as those of the professional jury.
In addition, content creative Bruce de Kok is in the race for an award in the ‘Best Talent’ category. De Kok, who joined Dept in October 2017, was selected as a nominee, after his content for, bol.com, TUI and Univé, among others, were submitted.
This year, the Business Awards and the Audience awards have their own award show, on June 6th and June 7th respectively. Both shows take place in B. Amsterdam.
