Agency charged with creative, media planning and event management

Dentsu Vietnam Wins Yamaha Motor Account

Dentsu Vietnam is tasked with helping build greater awareness for Yamaha Motor and  to revitalize the company’s brand image in the country. Dentsu Vietnam’s scope of work includes creative, media planning and buying, and event management.

“We are very proud that Yamaha has chosen to place their trust in us. This is an exciting opportunity for us to leverage Yamaha Motor’s five innovative brand characteristics – sporty, fashionable, fuel efficient, high performance, and durable – to give them a competitive advantage in Vietnam,” said Gaku Shinoda,  CEO, Dentsu Vietnam.

Dentsu Vietnam is an integrated marketing communications agency that is part of the Dentsu Aegis Network. The Dentsu Aegis Network first entered Vietnam in 1996, and Dentsu Vietnam was established  as a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2002. Since then, Dentsu Vietnam has grown rapidly with the aim to be  amongst the top 5 agencies in Vietnam by 2015. Most recently the agency snapped up the LEXUS  account in Vietnam, successfully supporting the luxury car brand’s official entry into the Vietnamese  market. Dentsu Vietnam’s other notable past and current clients include Toyota, Canon, Kirin,  Ajinomoto and Kao.

“We are pleased to be chosen as the agency partner of Yamaha Motor in Vietnam. Demand for  passenger vehicles such as motorcycles in the country is increasingly fuelled by higher incomes, and  we’re very excited to add our creative touch to help Yamaha boost its share in such an interesting  market,” said Dick van Motman, Chairman and CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network/SEA.
